The process

Before the session

Once you book, you will receive a confirmation email with the studio address, timing, and a few simple tips on what to wear. You are welcome to bring a couple of outfit options. If you are unsure, bring a few and we can decide together when you arrive.

In the studio

We start with the headshot you came for. The pace is relaxed and collaborative, with gentle direction as needed. You do not need any experience in front of the camera. Most people arrive a bit unsure and settle in quickly once we get started. As we go, we review images together so you can see what we are capturing and make small adjustments if needed. After the main headshot, we take a few extra minutes to create more natural variations. This gives you a set of portraits that can work across different uses.

After the session

Within 48 hours, you will receive a private online gallery with all of the images from your session. You can download the full set and take your time selecting your favourite.

Your session includes one high-resolution retouched image. Simply choose your favourite from the gallery and send me the file name. I will retouch that image and deliver the final version within one week. Additional retouched images can be added at any time.

The goal is simple: a calm session, a clear process, and a set of photos that feel like you and work wherever you need them.

I do not love having my photo taken

What happens after the session?

You will receive a private online gallery within 48 hours with all your images. From there, you can download the full set and choose your favourites for retouching. All images in the gallery are colour-corrected and web-ready for immediate use.

What is retouching?

Every session includes light, natural retouching on selected images. The goal is not to change how you look, but to refine the photo. Small distractions like blemishes or under-eye shadows can be softened so the final image looks polished and still like you.

Where can I use my photos?

Your images can be used across websites, LinkedIn, press features, website publications, and social media. All images from the session are delivered in web-ready format for immediate use. Your selected retouched image is delivered in both high-resolution and web-ready formats, so it can be used anywhere (print + web)

Do you photograph teams or organizations?

Yes. Small teams and organizations can be photographed both in-studio and on location in London, Ontario. Reach out for group sessions and rates.
