What is a session like?
Sessions are relaxed and collaborative. We start with a clean headshot, then take a little time to capture a few more natural variations so you leave with options that work across different contexts.
Depending on the package, sessions run between 30 minutes and 1 hour and a half. You are welcome to bring a couple of outfit options. If you are unsure what photographs well, bring a few and we can decide together in the studio.
I do not love having my photo taken
Most people feel this way. You do not need any experience in front of the camera. My job is to create a calm environment and guide you through the process so it feels straightforward and low pressure. We keep things simple and move at a comfortable pace.
We will review images together during the session so you can see what we are getting and make small adjustments if needed.
After the session
Within 24 hours, you will receive a private online gallery with all of the images from your session. From there, you can download the full set and take your time choosing favourites.
Each package includes a set number of retouched images. If your package includes one edited image, you will simply select your favourite from the gallery and send me the file name. I will then retouch that image and deliver the final version within one week. Additional retouched images can be added at any time.
All images in the gallery are colour-corrected and web-ready for immediate use.
What is retouching?
Every session includes light, natural retouching on selected images. The goal is not to change how you look, just to refine the photo. Small distractions like blemishes or under-eye shadows can be softened so the final image looks polished but still like you.
Where can I use my photos?
Your images can be used across websites, LinkedIn, press features, publications, and social media. Final retouched images are delivered in high-resolution and web-ready formats so they are easy to use anywhere.
